Show HN: AutoForm – The AI data entry agent – stop copy-pasting

https://autoform.ai/
2•zfeuers1•6mo ago
Hi HN,

I’ve built and sold startups in healthcare, edtech, and supply chain — and across all of them, the same problem kept coming up:

People wasting hours pulling messy data out of PDFs, spreadsheets, websites, emails, and even videos… just to clean it up and re-enter it into CRMs, ERPs, or web forms.

Most tools in this space are built for enterprise teams or a specific vertical — they assume fixed formats, API integrations, and engineering support.

AutoForm isn’t that.

It’s an AI data entry agent built for real-world chaos and individual users:

Extracts from unstructured sources (PDFs, spreadsheets, sites, video)

Lets you tag, clean, and reformat data using plain language

Auto-fills online forms, pushes to your existing apps, or outputs to CSV/Excel

No APIs. No templates. No setup. Just drop in messy inputs and get back usable output — even if every file looks different.

We’re opening up a waitlist now and would love feedback from the HN crowd:

What’s the worst data wrangling loop you’ve had to build?

Where have existing tools broken for you?

What kinds of sources or output targets do you deal with?

Happy to answer anything technical or edge-case-related in the comments.

I'm curious how well this scales. Can it handle a thousand documents in a batch?

> We’re opening up a waitlist now and would love feedback from the HN crowd:

Is this launched? How many active users do you have?

Waiting list never got traction here, and are not good for "Show HN" https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html

Remember to post again once people can try it. You will get a lot more of (unrequested) feedback.
