I'm trying to read this on a 1366x768 display on desktop. The header banner apparently takes up 600 vertical pixels of this (and of course the entire viewport width), permanently.

Could we please stop collectively acting as though the newest iWhatevers (breathtakingly high resolution, 1:2 or skinnier aspect ratio, portrait orientation by default, touch screen interfaces) are the only devices that exist? In my world, the opposite is closer to the truth.
