This is slightly similar to the management philosophy I have taken on in the wake of Ai: I increase the bar and let people be responsible for everything they do.
It is clear when someone submits stuff they don't understand, or can't make instrumental - and I clearly let them know that it is not appropriate, as in fail them - exactly like things was not appropriate before.

Raising the bar doesn't just mean for students -- I have taken too many classes that have been recycled from decades-old curriculum that has nothing to do with reality in 2025.
Just like we are (supposedly) developing ways to create better content using AI, we need to develop ways to more effectively understand and judge content and the process that created it.
