glad to see someone else that agrees. Big bonus is them not using the old sticky, gummy rubbers that should have been left in the 2000s yet companies still use in the current year

I use a number of Cherry Gentix mice - the USB version costs around €10, there's also a Bluetooth version for ca. €20. So far, these have been absolutely reliable.

Microsoft Basic for me, slightly more expensive. Mouse mat - a non-stick baking sheet with that grainy reflective finish.

I'm a righty and I run an Apple trackpad on the left so I can write while scrolling. It also enables a desk setup that is far less clumsy and cluttered. And after using the trackpad for several years, I would loathe having to go back to using a mouse on a daily basis.
The switch to the left took a week or two to get used to, but it was worth the investment. Recommended.
