I’m stuck with an AWS account access issue and hoping someone here has advice.
My root login email suddenly stopped working — when I try to sign in, AWS says “account does not exist.” But the account definitely still exists (I even have recent billing emails). I also know my password, but the login system won’t recognize the root email anymore.
I opened a support case and provided billing statements, payment card details, and other ownership proof. 48 hours ago, AWS support told me they would escalate it internally and asked me to wait. Since then, there’s been no progress or communication at all.
Has anyone here dealt with AWS account access problems like this? How long does it normally take, and is there any way to push AWS to actually take action?
Thanks in advance.

They have already called me on the phone number that is associated with my AWS account(twice), and I also provided them with multiple pieces of matching evidence(billing, phone, credit card, etc).
How the hell can this still NOT be enough to prove that the account belongs to me???
This is absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of my time. Do they even know what they are doing????
