Strangely working on some code I noticed people using the word rep, it took me a while to realise this is short for report.

However it took me back to my intern work at Union Carbide coatings where they used a Detonation gun with a modulated repetition rate to fire tungsten carbide into steel to make the part more durable for use in nuclear power stations.

Or my MSc in Laser Engineering with pulse lasers and their repetition rate.
