Github's trending page is annoying, repeatedly surfacing well-known old projects (Django, Bootstrap, etc.).

Great repos, sure, but not fresh discoveries. That kinda defeats the purpose of "trending."

I built a newsletter featuring fresh trends using star growth analytics. Updates are delivered via

- email (weekly),

- RSS feed (twice daily),

- and GitHub inbox notification (weekly).
