Ask HN: Is it worth going to Germany to do my bachelors in CS/AI?

2•DingDongPing•1h ago
I live in India and done with my first year of uni(pretty decent uni) but I don't like it here as its in the same city i live and I wanna venture out. USA is pretty expensive and more importantly I wont get a good uni there because of my marks but I indeed plan to move to or at least want to move to silicon valley, what I am thinking is to do bachelors in CS/AI in Germany then work there for a few years to earn enough and then go to the US for masters. Is it a good idea and more importantly is it feasible?

Bachelor programs are usually taught in the language of the country, unlike master programmes that are in English. There are exceptions of course, but that would be the first thing I would look into.

Yeah i am only planning to apply for English taught bachelors which are of 3 years, I read US unis require 16 years of education for Masters and since I have 1 year in my Indian uni it would most likely count(hopefully), but yeah is the job market for tech in Germany good like would I be able get a well paying job and gather enough money to pay my masters degree in US?
