Show HN: Budgero – a privacy-first budgeting app

https://budgero.app
1•toma-bomba•4mo ago
I built Budgero because I was frustrated with YNAB being expensive, region-limited, and not privacy-focused. Budgero is a budgeting app that’s privacy-first, supports multiple currencies, works offline, and gives you full control of your data.

You can try it here: https://demo.budgero.app/ (data not saved).

For anyone interested in getting into beta sign up at: https://my.budgero.app (I will be sending invites soon)

Feedback welcome!

Hi HN,

I built Budgero because I was frustrated with YNAB. It’s expensive, region-limited (as a non-US/EU user I couldn’t access all features), and not privacy-focused.

Budgero aims to be a lightweight alternative. It is privacy-first: all data is encrypted locally before it ever touches the server. It supports multi-currency budgeting with automatic conversion and works offline, so you can use it anywhere without depending on bank sync. You retain full data ownership with export and delete options. The workflow is similar to YNAB, but with manual entry only.

You can try it here:

Sign up for beta access: https://budgero.app

Demo (no signup, no data saved): https://demo.budgero.app

The app is about 90% complete. I use it daily, but I would love feedback on multi-currency handling, reports, and the overall UX.

Happy to answer any questions about the product, the tech stack, or the roadmap. Feedback of all kinds is welcome.
