Show HN: I replaced 47 GCs, 12 spreadsheets, and 5 apps with 1 tool

https://planaway.xyz/

Hey HN This app will finally get your trips out of the group chat.

I built PlanAway because planning group trips with friends always turned into: 200 unread messages arguing about dates A spreadsheet nobody updates Ten different apps for flights, stays, and activities

PlanAway puts everything in one place: - Create a trip with friends - Add reservations, expenses, and itineraries - Collaborate in real time (no more lost notes) - Get AI suggestions for activities and food

It’s live now as a web app. You can mess around with it WITHOUT creating an account! Still early, but usable — and I’d love any and all feedback.

I’d love your feedback on: - The #1 group-trip pain point you’d want this to fix - What would make you actually switch from chats/spreadsheets - Any “killer feature” you think is missing

Anything feel clunky or confusing?

Note: Mobile has some UI issues which are being addressed. Data pipelines for flights/lodging is in works to fix the manual part atm

Thanks for checking it out

> You can mess around with it WITHOUT creating an account!

It's not obvious. Perhaps change "Start Planing" for "Start Planing for Free". patio11 recommends big orange pancake buttons...

I entered some data and I got a form to add my email, not free info.

I also entered "Brazil" and the site proposed to autocomplete with non-touristic small towns somewhere, instead of the major beaches in Brazil

thanks for the feedback. I will work on making it more clear. and there is a button on the bottom that says "Skip now" to continue using the platform as a Guest rather than logging in/signing up. I will make it more clear, thanks!
