you cant exactly paint it all with the same brush. there are those that subsist, those that hunt and prep, and then all the rest that live in anchorage.

if you depend on the grocer, a total disruption of supply means, about 3days and you cant get what you want. after a week you cant get much of anything.

if you dont have your own holdings, you will have to depend on others, and about 2weeks after disruption the thieving starts, usually anchorage criminals trying to take opportunity stealing from surrounding areas, selling it and buying thier substance of choice.

usually people dont talk about it much when they put a stop to the thieving.
