Almost ready to launch my SaaS – but one feature is holding me back badly

3•arun5k1095•4mo ago
I’ve built a SaaS product. It has come out really amazing.

It’s working fine with a few private clients, and I’d like to go public soon.

The missing piece is on-demand payouts. I need individuals to request payments in INR or major world currencies, and I should be able to trigger them via API from my web app.

My main Issues:

I'm only able to receive international currencies but i've no way i can trigger a payout to users in other currencies. Indian Regulations in terms of outward remittance are very tight.

I really need some guidance here , how to navigate this ? Is there a way i can open account in another country virtually and operate ?

Don't take this kind of advice off the internet; find & speak with a knowledgeable professional in your area who can help you with this and other local regulatory issues.

This might be the 1 roadblock now, but I assure you there are many others right after this... and you shouldn't take internet advice for these

you might check

1. Multi-Entity Structure

Many Indian SaaS companies establish subsidiaries in business-friendly jurisdictions like Singapore, Dubai (DIFC/ADGM), or Delaware. The Indian entity provides services to the foreign subsidiary, which then handles international payouts. This requires proper transfer pricing documentation and compliance in both jurisdictions.

2. Payment Service Providers

Consider platforms like:

Wise Business (formerly TransferWise) Payoneer Stripe Connect (for marketplace-style payouts) RemitOUT or BookMyForex for Indian companies These can handle multi-currency payouts while managing compliance.

3. Virtual Account Solutions

Some fintech providers offer virtual accounts in different countries, but ensure they're fully compliant with both Indian and destination country regulations. Simply "opening accounts virtually" without proper legal structure can create tax and compliance issues.

This is just capital controls. A common problem in most 3rd world countries. Unfortunately bypassing them requires a special relationship with a local bank or financial institution which maybe able to give you instant transfer outwards via prior understanding. But they will probably demand some foreign exchange as collateral. If it makes you feel any better, I don't think you can launch such a service even in China.

You need to explain more. Is your app a marketplace? Can you offer crypto payouts and call it a day. You can ignore regulations in India if you are small and not India based. Also if you are flowing money In and not Out, you are unlikely to trigger much attention at this stage.
