Show HN: PlantYourTip, a link-in-bio tools that plants a tree with each tip

Show HN: PlantYourTip — simple tipping pages for creators & SMBs (plants a tree)

I built PlantYourTip: a super-simple tipping page for creators, influencers, and small businesses. Supporters tip you via a shareable link-in-bio or QR, and a small portion of each tip funds a verified tree through Ecologi—so every tip says “thanks” and plants a tree.

* Homepage: https://plantyourtip.com * Example creator page (no login): https://plantyourtip.com/moh * Video walkthrough (no signup): https://plantyourtip.com/videos/vJgSK-GdXxg

A few details:

* 100 early adopters are already using it. * Pricing: no monthly charges; 5% platform fee per tip.

I’m especially keen to hear from influencers/digital creators/small business:

* What would make you actually put this link in your bio? * Which metrics/exports do you need (e.g., per-platform attribution, top tippers, monthly summaries)? * Any deal-breakers around payout, fees, or branding?

No marketing fluff—just looking for blunt product feedback and bug reports. I’ll be in the thread to answer questions.

I built this after seeing pain points in existing apps and clear places they could be better. Tying tipping to sustainability felt important to me, planting a tree per tip is a strong motivator for this kind of support.

Tech Frontend in Vue.js, backend in .NET, deployed on the Microsoft stack, designed to be fully scalable.

Offer If someone seriously wants to create a page, I’ll personally cover a minimum-amount real tips for a limited number of pages as a showcase so you can see the full flow end-to-end. And if you already have a public page and want to use it for real, I can also support that in the same way (limited).
