It's unfortunate, but a lot of pet owners do not seem capable, or are unwilling to control their animals. If you can't control them, you shouldn't own them.

My friends all know that one of my favorite edicts in response to their frequent pet complaints is, "I don't have that problem with my dog".

Because I have an imaginary dog.

I grew up with dogs and I have no problem with them --- I just prefer that they belong to someone else. It offers me more time, money and freedom to enjoy life on my terms.
