Offline business. Did one with a close friend because that's what the PG essays say. I went with the most hustler type person I know - he was charismatic, confident, creative, smart, worked in a big company, would do anything to win, etc.
I hated negotiating, so he'd be the main negotiator. And boy would he negotiate. Every small thing. We got a substantial discount on a major purchase.
But he negotiated on a banner once and they printed it an off color. They didn't give us the stand which they would for free. This pattern started emerging all over the place. People would give us flawed design on purpose. Excited applicants would suddenly change their mind. The person who rented space to us went from being welcoming/excited to arguing with us all the time.
Things really just started falling apart from there.

People trying to take everything id built and drama before doing any work.
I’m good at cutting people off before they destroy something after a decade of work experience.
