I used Trezor Suite's integrated partner, Banxa, to sell £1012 of crypto. The transaction failed, but Banxa kept my cryptocurrency and never returned it. I have provided all required blockchain proof. This was over 2 days ago and still the funds are missing.
Trezor's Official (Non-)Response:
When I contacted Trezor support for help, their response was a masterclass in passing the buck. They told me (direct quote from their chat):
While Trezor partners with various providers to facilitate transactions, each provider operates independently... For issues related to transactions processed by Banxa, it is essential to continue communication with them, as they are responsible for the transaction processing.'
In other words: "We profit from this partnership, but we take zero responsibility when it goes wrong."
Following this, I took the advice of an online advisor and tried to warn the Trezor community on Reddit.com directly by posting on r/Trezor, r/BTC and r/CryptoCurrency. My post was a factual account of what happened, including the support quote.
It was removed by the moderators within seconds.
This is a blatant attempt to suppress a legitimate warning to their users. They are silencing victims to protect their brand, even when their chosen partner is at fault.
