I’m watching the literal plot of Brazil.

It's really starting to seem like ICE is the national version of our corrupt police unions. They've captured our political process with tales of bogeymen and narratives of needing to be tOuGh oN cRiMe (of course never on their own crimes...). Their horrible methods are allowed to slowly fester under leadership that you'd think would at least somewhat represent reform, then when they get the political green light they go full mask off operating as a sadistic lawless gang.
