I’ve been working on FlashDrive 1987, a retro sci-fi short film inspired by 1980s adventure movies like Explorers and Back to the Future.
The project isn’t made by AI - it’s developed with AI as a creative assistant. I use tools like Midjourney, Hedra and ElevenLabs to visualize scenes, design sets, and test storytelling ideas before moving toward a real film production.
The idea is to explore how these tools can extend imagination, not replace human creativity. Each week, I post small "capsules" that show the process - storyboarding, music composition, behind-the-scenes, and character design - like a digital making-of.
I’d love feedback from anyone interested in AI-assisted art, indie film pipelines, or 80s-style storytelling.
Thanks for reading - and for any thoughts or critiques you might have.
