Over the past few months I’ve been experimenting with running AI models locally and noticed how scattered all the good projects are across GitHub, Reddit, and random forums. To make things easier to track, I built a simple website that lists and categorizes tools you can run locally, from model runtimes to developer tools and agent frameworks.
Right now, it’s just a searchable directory, but I’m planning to add features like:
User likes and popularity rankings
Community submissions
More detailed filtering by category and purpose
The idea is to make it easier to discover and compare local-first AI software in one place. It’s still early, but I’d love any feedback, suggestions, or ideas for improvement.
