VC's will tell you not to think about risk but ask yourself how big this idea could be. Yet no VC would ever meet with Polymarket's founder.

There is a greatly reduced risk when the owner of the NYSE is willing to buy a quarter of the company. Yet again no VC would touch the deal even after he was profitable and operating legally in the U.S. Makes no sense to me as he was operating in the financial capital of the world.
