I remember classes in the 90s teaching folks how to do web searches and about how you aren’t to trust all results you get. The skepticism I’m seeing right now about LLMs reminds me a lot of it.

It's a bad idea blindly to trust information one comes across on the internet.

It's a worse idea blindly to trust LLM output.

The skepticism is warranted in both cases.
