It’s literally impossible to reconcile the fact that the same groups (I.e heritage foundation) that backed trump are trying to collapse the European Union (as a matter of fact on the record) with the idea that the US intel community can be trusted.
European intel services should be laser focused on undermining that part of US political power at every possible opportunity because it’s entirely incompatible with the goals of the European Union or any kind of rules based international order.
