Show HN: SKRL is a language for expressing keyboard remaps and shortcuts

https://gitlab.com/GutoMotta/skrl
1•gutomotta•2h ago
Hello, everyone. I'm a heavy keyboard user that loves Karabiner-Elements and has been using it a lot for a long time. I don't love to write Complex Modifications by hand, though. Found a few projects to facilitate that process, but I wanted something even more easily readable, which ultimately led me to create a (small) language.

The project is mostly written with assistance from AI, as a proficient Rust programmer might notice if they read the source code (I don't know Rust). It works, though, and I've been using it personally. I'm sure there are still bugs out there, but nothing that got in my way so far. If someone happens to actually try it, please do not hesitate to file bugs or provide feedback.
