Jimmy Wales left the studio after the first question. He had introduced himself as the “founder of Wikipedia.” On Wikipedia itself, he is referred to as the “co-founder.”
Of course, there is a factual difference between being the sole founder of a company and founding it together with others. Jimmy Wales called this question “the stupidest question he had ever heard,” saying it had nothing to do with facts, which is why he was ending the interview. In fact, however, the question was in line with Wikipedia's claims of factual accuracy, which Wales did not want to fulfill in relation to himself. We regret that he ended the interview after 50 seconds—journalistically, this question was completely correct.
