Pinggy is a location-based social app built around short, ephemeral text posts from people in your city. No likes, no followers, no algorithmic feeds - just a chronological stream of local conversations that disappear in 7 days.

I built it because most social apps today optimize for reach, virality, and influencer dynamics, which often pushes out authentic, everyday voices. I wanted something smaller, more human — a digital town square where people in the same city can talk without the pressure of metrics or permanent history.

Pinggy tries to bring back spontaneous, local conversations by focusing on simplicity, privacy, and a slower, more grounded social experience.
