Seriously though, I can’t imagine a) anyone thinking it’s wise to plop a current LLM product into a toddler’s unsupervised hands, or b) anyone assuming the teddy bear they just bought their child could be guiding them to weapons and discussing sexual topics. I think most responsible parents ‘get’ that you can’t just let kids roam free on the internet, but I think LLMs are enough of a context switch that people don’t make the connection intuitively.
