A widespread Cloudflare outage has taken down significant portions of the internet, affecting major platforms including social media site X, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and Anthropic’s Claude. The global cloud network reported widespread 500 errors across its services, with both customer websites and Cloudflare’s own dashboard and API experiencing failures. This incident marks the second major internet infrastructure disruption in recent weeks. Following last month’s AWS outage that similarly crippled numerous online services.
