One day a friend mentioned he wanted a monitoring system for a few Raspberry Pis. I looked around online for about 5 minutes but couldn’t find anything that matched what I had in mind. So I decided to try “vibe coding” and make it a project. In about 3 days (roughly 15 hours total), I built a prototype just by chatting with Gemini-CLI. After that, I added some improvements for fun and brought it to its current state. Right now both my friend and I are using this project at home. Hopefully it’ll be useful for you too.
