Built this to scratch my own itch: where do you share half-baked app ideas and gauge interest? This is a Hacker News clone, but instead of news stories it's app ideas—problems worth solving, automation opportunities, or tools that don't exist yet. Upvote what resonates, discuss feasibility in comments. Hoping it becomes a repository of validated demand.

This website is simple and clean, it is easy to use. I agree with your hope that it become a repository of validated demand. The challenge is translating the users from tech nerds to average people who would use the validated apps. I could see it getting skewed towards tech tools. Of course any validated demand is better than none, so even without a broader user base it still has merit.
