Meet *Aissist* — my personal AI assistant CLI that actually remembers things.

It’s local-first, fast, and built for engineers who want an AI that works like their second brain, not just a chat window. Your goals, notes, tasks, meetings, learnings — all stored as Markdown + embedded into a Chroma vector store for semantic recall. Runs entirely on your machine, plugs into Claude/other LLMs, and is fully extensible.

*What it does:* - Stores your goals, tasks, and history in clean Markdown files - Lets you search your life semantically (“what did I plan last week about X?”) - Links context automatically so the AI always knows your world - Provides a clean, minimal CLI with a growing plugin ecosystem - Works offline (except model calls)
