I really really hope Rivian does not fail, but they are trying so hard to make me think otherwise, and not in the usual stick your foot into a political hole Silicon Valley way of failing. They're failing by doing a great job at things they shouldn't be doing. They built the best E bike that is a harbinger of the future of E bikes. But they shouldn't have. I'm sure they're AI chip design is very competent. But they shouldn't have done it.
