So having done all the "Hard" binary puzzles (and thinking myself very clever), I wanted to start on the "Very Hard" ones at https://www.binarypuzzle.com/puzzles.php?size=10&level=4&nr=1.

Very quickly getting stuck, I thought I'd try the AI's for inspiration. All four of the LLM's that I tried appeared to understand the puzzle rules but then they all hallucinated, confounded, fluffed and fumbled.

Just goes to show that they are not using logic, just repeating words that they have scraped elsewhere.

The solver at https://www.magmeister.be/binarypuzzlesolver/ showed that it was able to complete the first column as the next step - I just can't understand how!!
