It’s crazy how reliably you can get expected results from masses by just exposing them to specific types of content.
Even when I practice mindfulness while reading news. I still find myself feeling irrational things when I read something that was specifically designed to trigger me.
The level of awareness you have to maintain to resist brainwashing is really taking me increasing amount of effort as bots get more and more sophisticated. Most social media platforms nowadays might as well disable comments tbh.
We probably need to head towards a post comment internet if we’re to limit the mind controlling.
