Static illustration packs are fast but inflexible. Fully custom 3D workflows are powerful but slow, with a lot of permutations to manage.
I built a small tool to explore a middle ground: generating consistent, production-ready avatars from parameters rather than handcrafting or fully modeling each one. The goal was speed, consistency, and easy integration into design and code workflows — not replacing 3D artists or bespoke art direction.
It’s early, but it’s been useful for: • product mockups • onboarding flows • empty states • internal tools
Would appreciate feedback from people who’ve dealt with similar tradeoffs: • does this approach make sense? • where does it fall down? • are there workflows you’ve found that work better?
Happy to answer questions about how it’s built or how it fits into existing pipelines.
