How is this "radicalization" and not "developing your own opinions"? By the facts presented in the article, the Father reads widely. Perhaps the Irish press is as homogeneous and "woke" as depicted, but CNN has never been liberal, and Al Jazeera doesn't fit on a left-right axis. This Father can and does receive many viewpoints, and actively chooses among them. As any rational being would. This isn't "radicalization", it's deciding a way to believe that the author of the article simply doesn't approve of.
