Show HN: Revertly – version control for Shopify products

https://revertly.io/
3•SaveYourChanges•2h ago
Hi HN — I built Revertly (https://revertly.io/ ) after getting burned one too many times by Shopify product edits.

A title tweak, price change, or variant update would go live, something would break (ads, conversions, reporting), and there was no clear way to answer: what actually changed? or how do I undo this safely?

Revertly does a simple thing: it keeps a history of product changes, shows you clear diffs, and lets you restore an earlier version with one click.

It works automatically in the background - no manual snapshots, no remembering required.

Right now it supports:

Field-level tracking for product changes

Before/after diffs that are easy to scan

One-click rollback

An audit trail that’s useful for teams and agencies

What I’m building next: metafield tracking, deeper variant diffs, and better tooling for agencies managing multiple stores.

This is early, but already useful. I’d love feedback - especially from anyone who’s ever thought “I wish Shopify had undo.”

Thanks for reading! Any feedback is appreciated!

This is actually pretty smart. Not sure why they don't have this built in. I haven't sold anything on Shopify yet but I might in the near future.
