Show HN: I got tired of Googling in thrift stores, so I built an AI pricing tool

https://underpricedai.com
2•fkratzer•1mo ago

Every reseller knows the feeling: you find something that looks valuable, but you're standing in a crowded thrift store trying to decipher a signature or Google model numbers while someone else is eyeing the same item.

I built Underpriced AI to make this faster. Snap a photo → get identification + pricing + eBay listing copy. The vision AI is particularly good at the stuff that's hard to Google: pottery marks, artist signatures, vintage brand variations.

What surprised me: Claude often provides useful context about WHY something is collectible ("This is Blenko glass, handblown in West Virginia, the crackle finish indicates 1960s production..."). Buyers appreciate that info in listings.

Free tier available. Would love feedback from the HN community.
