What do I mean by some software devs are "ngmi"?

Hard disagree, it's literally backwards.

The devs who are "ngmi" are these professional sloppers who are increasingly dependent from their glorified chatbots.

To anyone reading, ghuntley (former crypto-skeptic turned AI-booster) works at Amp Inc. (AI coding agent company)

So of course this is a pro-AI post directly in the interest of Amp and others who need mediocre developers and vibe coders to use their AI to do their job.

Secondly, the “developers” fully dependent on AI will reveal themselves to be unable to diagnose high impact problems, especially when an outage happens.

Vibe-coders and AI-dependent engineers are “ngmi”.
