I would like to share a project I have been working on called IngestGPT (https://ingestgpt.com).
Try without signup or login on https://ingestgpt.com/features/youtube-ingestion
IngestGPT is a tool to summarize content and then chat directly with the source. I know I am a bit late to the “summarize and chat with X” SaaS party, so I am very open to feedback, guidance, and suggestions from the community on where this can be improved or differentiated.
Current features include: • YouTube summaries • Podcast summaries, with built-in iTunes search, so you can search podcasts and episodes directly without finding episode URLs • Audio file summaries • PDF summaries • PPT summaries • Study plan generation just by topic • Answer the Public–style questions generated from topic/category
For all of these, you also get: • Chat with the source, including voice chat • Ability to repurpose the content into blog posts and social media posts (Facebook, LinkedIn, X)
The main goal is to help people consume long-form content faster and then reuse it in practical ways, instead of just reading a short summary and stopping there.
As mentioned, I realize this is a crowded space already. I would really appreciate honest feedback from HN: • What features matter most in tools like this? • What feels unnecessary? • Where do you think there is still room to stand out?
Thanks for reading, and I am looking forward to your thoughts.

Do you expect users to watch a Youtube video or listen to a podcast then write a report about it or something? Can you describe your ideal user?
