Ask HN: I'm in Ukraine and need stable power and internet access

2•justtraderit•1mo ago
Hi HN,

I’m based in Ukraine and I’m dealing with unstable power and internet connectivity.

I’m trying to raise $2,000 to purchase: – EcoFlow (backup power) – Starlink (stable internet)

This would allow me to stay connected and continue working in difficult conditions.

Support page: buymeacoffee.com/justtraderp

Crypto donations (USDT TRC20): TT1md66ugKJwsYiuGXt1Tz93d3HF8mrCga

I will share receipts and updates after the purchase. Thank you for reading.

404: page not found

Thanks for pointing this out.

Buy Me a Coffee doesn’t seem to make the page publicly accessible from my location. For now, crypto is the most reliable option for me.

I appreciate you letting me know.

Quick update for clarity:

Buy Me a Coffee isn’t reliably accessible from my location, so crypto is currently the best option.

Where do you live, so that you need starlink specifically?

Starlink mini costs 400 usd in Kyiv 1600 usd will buy you delta 3 max.

What exactly do you do?

justtraderit•2w ago
I’m currently in Ukraine in an area with unstable power and frequent outages.

I mentioned Starlink specifically because mobile internet is unreliable during outages and congestion. I’m aware that Starlink Mini is cheaper in Kyiv, but availability and delivery are inconsistent where I am.

Regarding EcoFlow: the goal is to have enough capacity to cover longer outages, not just short blackouts.

I work remotely and need stable power and internet to stay connected and continue working.
