Show HN: NoMe AI Authentication (a bad way to login)

NoMe is an experimental identity verification system that authenticates you based on your personal preferences and quirks instead of passwords.

Is this a good authentication idea? Absolutely not! It was fun to explore conversational AI for identity. It has been described to me as "the most annoying thing ever built."

During enrollment, it asks you creative questions like: - "What music do you NOT like when working?" - "What notification sound makes you check your phone immediately?" - "If you could only have one condiment for everything, what would it be?"

At login, it challenges you with variations of those questions, sometimes flipping the polarity ("What do you dislike?" instead of "What do you like?"), and adding honey pot questions to check consistency.

Under the hood: semantic embeddings, NLI scoring for contradiction detection, and GPT-4o-mini for question generation and answer canonicalization.
