Oof. I don’t typically agree with Krugman due to how one sided he can be. But he’s sort of accurate here. Trump helps himself and his friends - for example spending tax money from the new much bigger defense budget on Musk’s companies - and is hyper aggressive against others who aren’t in his group. It’s interesting that retaliation can be against the smallest of people (see ICE brutality) or the powerful (Jerome Powell). He doesn’t tolerate dissent and disloyalty, at all. With the DOJ weaponized and this massive police force of ICE weaponized, there are many uncomfortable parallels to dictatorships around the world.

I hope Trump realizes what his administration is becoming, before it destroys America.
