There’s just no way this is true, because it’s not about the AI it’s about the humans. Slop is the consequence of making creation frictionless. Full stop, it’s not about the quality of the AI.

Holy shit no. Code slop was a problem before AI because of the intent behind writing the code, not the quality of the code itself. I myself produced whole novels of code slop. AI supercharges that in all domains.
