I am a Physics PhD student. I built this app because I kept procrastinating on my thesis due to ADHD, and existing tools didn't fit my workflow.
Most ADHD apps are either mobile-only or require monthly subscriptions for cloud sync on their proprietary servers. Since I work on a Windows PC in the lab and use an Android phone on the go, I needed a cross-platform solution that respects privacy.
The Solution: I built Gravity Focus using Flutter.
Local-first & Privacy: No central server. Data syncs directly via your own Google Drive (encrypted). I have no access to your data.
Cross-Platform: Windows (MSIX) and Android support.
Methodology: Combines Routine blocking, Pomodoro, and Task Chunking (breaking tasks down to lower resistance).
I released it on the Microsoft Store and Play Store. It’s free to use for basic features. I'd love to get some feedback on the sync architecture or the UX from an ADHD perspective.
