Also those "studies" were always more clickbait than anything else. The formula for conspiracy:

1. Have something you can't see (WiFi, 5G, Microplastics)

2. Have something that is hard to verify (See here, pictures can be faked!)

3. "Common sense" should agree with your thesis (Plastics are bad everyone knows, radiation too!, going to the moon is hard)

4. Best if it's already widely used and makes you feel special for going against the grain.

and there you have your conspiracy food for the next decade.

I don't say we should dismiss those studies at sight but I think they need more time in the sun before we can accurately have an opinion on that. But modern news can't handle this.
