Why waste money on this? If the search is not done within 72 hours of the election I would imagine there has been plenty of time to dispose of or tamper with evidence. A search could be useful if elections logged everything to multiple immutable append-write-only anti-tamper ledgers run by multiple countries.

All of the proof is most likely gone. Most judges threw out any of the court cases and election offices stalled the investigations.
