Chrome still doesn't let you export bookmarks as JSON natively. The built-in manager only does HTML. I wanted something minimal — no UI, no config, no data leaving my machine.

So I built a small extension: click the toolbar icon, get your full bookmark tree as a JSON file. Two permissions (bookmarks + downloads), works offline, a few KB total.
