How do you track contact lens replacement?

2•swetahs1•2h ago
I often forget when I opened a new set of contact lenses and end up wearing them longer than recommended.

I built a small app to track replacement dates, but before going further I’m curious:

Do you have this problem?

How do you solve it today?

Would you actually use a dedicated app for this?

Appreciate any thoughts. URL: https://lens-care.com/

Todo-list app handles it.

Brain, calendar, or Reminders / task-management app.

But c'mon, do people not know how to use calendars anymore?

I don't mean to be rude or sarcastic. Still, it's no wonder people can't remember to take care of stuff like this: they're too busy trying to find, manage, and juggle dedicated apps for everything — a contact-lens replacement app, a medication reminder app, a recipe app for grocery lists, an app to tell me when garbage day is, an app to track brushing my teeth every day, a timer app specifically to tell me when to move my laundry from the washer to the dryer, another timer app to alert me when my water should be done boiling, an app to track my period …

Surely we could be channeling our excess energies and brilliant talents toward solving one of humanity's many important challenges instead.
