Hey HN, I’m a solo dev. I got tired of manually closing 10 browser tabs, killing Slack, and opening VS Code every time I wanted to switch from 'Client Work' to 'Deep Code' mode.
So I built SwitchBlade. It’s a native macOS app that lets you define 'Profiles'. One click in the menu bar kills specific apps, launches others, opens URLs, and toggles system settings (Dark Mode/DND). It also supports running shell scripts (e.g., docker-compose up) on activation.
It’s $39 (one-time), but I’m looking for feedback on the 'Shell Script' feature specifically. Let me know what you think.
