I built this after realizing how hard it is to understand portfolio risk once you have multiple brokerage accounts.

Most tools show returns and charts, but risk tends to creep up quietly (concentration, drawdowns, volatility) unless you actively monitor it.

This system connects to broker accounts via OAuth, continuously syncs holdings and transactions, computes risk metrics, and triggers alerts when thresholds are crossed. It also sends a simple weekly summary so you don’t have to check dashboards daily.

The hardest parts were normalizing data across brokers, handling historical positions correctly, and deciding which metrics actually matter in practice.
